The Christ We Serve

Image
John 1:1-4 [1]In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2]The same was in the beginning with God. [3]All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [4]In him was life; and the life was the light of men. For years I have been grappling with the meaning of the term - The Word. I always searched through extrabiblical sources to understand the term. However I never imagined that verse 3 and 4 that could be an explanation to the term the Word. All things were made through Him and without nothing could be. Just imagine that!! However, now, through the gospel (the glory of the Spirit), we can behold the glory of the Lord as in a mirror and not only so but also we are being changed day by day into that image (2 Corinthians 3:18) We have received this treasure through his mercy 🙌🏿  I could talk more on the treasure but that is the essence of the treasure in us.  Secondly, I find it strange that tre
