The term ‘powerless Christians’ is an oxymoron because Paul said that he is not ashamed of the gospel for it is the POWER OF GOD unto salvation to everyone who believes. Rom 1:16. A Christian from the moment he believes there is already power working in them unto salvation. Paul notes in another place that the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. 1 Cor 4:20. Jesus also says that none comes to Him unless the Father draws him. John 6:44. Thus, even the very act of believing is ‘unctioned’ by God Himself because, in our natural state; we are dead in trespasses and sins. Eph 2:1. Can dead people move themselves? Hence, we cannot move ourselves from trespasses and sins but God made us (born again Christians) alive by his grace. Eph 2:5. Thus, we cannot be Christians without his power and this power doesn’t stop the moment we believe but continues to work. And if the power is not there then we are not Christians. That is why I term the topic as an oxymoron. On the other hand
